    This is a copy of the photo mounted in the Hall of Flags at the Massachusetts State House.

  The blood “soaking” the center of the flag was, respectfully, the blood of Sgt. Peter Bryan, though some of Plunkett’s is on the flag as well. From battlefield reports of the day.
